The Tudor facade and original stone floors in the hotels reception suggest a style of wealthy living pre-dating the Bard himself. Over the years the Shakespeare has been a firm favourite with politicians, diplomats, business people and scholars alike. Subtle touches like open fires in the lounge during the winter months and a traditional menu in the restaurant help create a wonderfully peaceful and friendly ambience. The Othellos Bar Brasserie offers a contemporary style atmosphere with a large selection of menu options from morning coffee, brunch, drinks and nibbles, there is something for everyone.
